Drought Conditions Dictate Change in Alabama Power’s Reservoir Management Plan

Drought conditions are dictating a change in Alabama Power Company’s reservoir management plan throughout the Coosa, Tallapoosa, and Black Warrior River systems.  Below is a report published by Yellowhammer News about how water levels at Weiss, Neely Henry, and Logan Martin lakes on the Coosa River, Harris and Martin lakes on the Tallapoosa River, and Smith Lake on the Black Warrior River continue to drop — and forecasts from the National Weather Center for the next three months do not provide much hope for enough rain to help the situation.  Click here for the report.
