Lack of Rain Invokes Drought Plan

USS Montgomery (LCS 8) Christened, to be Commissioned in September

The US Navy's newest littoral combat ship, the USS Montgomery, was recently christened and, in an announcement at a press conference on May 12, we learned the craft will be commissioned on September 10 in Mobile.  Click here for more information.

Senate EPW Committee passes draft 2016 WRDA bill

The US Senate Energy and Public Works Committee has passed a draft 2016 Water Resources and Development Act (WRDA). WRDA is the bill that authorizes projects and modifies policies relating to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
